He Has Wide Experience In General Practice And Particularly Enjoys Work In Niche Areas Such As Solicitors, Charities, Pension Schemes, Family Trusts And Inheritance Tax Planning. He Has Experience In Internal Audit Reporting And Is A Qualified Investment Adviser. Philip Is Married With Three Young Children And When He'S Not Busy With His Family Enjoys Gardening, Bowls And Beekeeping.

Murray Dalgety
 Murray Commenced Training With Bird Simpson & Co In 1989, Qualifying As A C.A. In 1992 And Became A Partner In The Firm In 1999. Murray Has A Broad Portfolio Of Clients Covering All Areas Of General Practice But Also Specialises In Auditing In Particular For Charities And Housing Associations. Murray Is Also The Staff Partner, Responsible For Recruiting Staff And Trainees And Dealing With Staffing Matters.
Outside Of Work Murray Is A Busy Father Of Two And Regularly Plays Five-A-Side Football.

 Neil Joined The Firm In 1994 As An Icas Trainee And Became A Partner In 2001. Neil Has A General Portfolio Of Clients Including Accounts Preparation, Audit And Taxation Clients. Within The Firm Neil Takes Responsibility For Reviewing Disclosure And Audit Requirements Within Limited Company Accounts.
Outside Work, Neil Enjoys Running, Cycling And Swimming, Often Participating In Local Triathlons, Road Races And Cross-Country Events. A Keen Mountaineer, Neil Also Enjoys Travel, Reading And The Gym.

 Alison Graduated From Dundee University With A M.A.(Hons) In Accountancy And Psychology. She Joined Bird Simpson In 1988 And Qualified As A C. A. In 1991. Like The Other Partners, She Has A Wide-Ranging Portfolio Of Clients, Including Corporate Clients, Charitable Organisations, Partnerships And Individuals. Her Work Covers All Areas Of Taxation, Audit And Accountancy.

 John Qualified As A Chartered Accountant In 1972 And Became A Partner In Bird Simpson In 1975, Retiring From Fulltime Work In 2013, John Remains As A Consultant With The Practice. He Has Wide Experience In General Practice Particularly In Auditing, Accounting And Taxation Matters. His Specialisms Include Owner-Managed Businesses, Professional Partnerships And Medical Practices. He Also Provides Specialist Advice For Farming Businesses And Agricultural Estates.
