Could You Please Pass This Onto Gary (I Do Not Have His Address) For Our Meeting On The 23Rd:-
We Tend To Use Multi-Function Devices In The Larger Offices And Cheaper Print Solutions On Site. The Cheaper Solutions Tend To Be Ink-Jet As Opposed To Laser And Although Cheap To Purchase, They Will Be Expensive To Use. Volumes Vary From Site To Site And I Do Not Have Figures To Hand Detailing These Although I Should Be Able To Get Some Idea If I Have Someone Look At The Cost Of Paper That Is Supplied To Each Location. We Have Sites Across All Of Scotland As Well As In England As Far South As Manchester - These Vary From One Man Bands To Larger Site Porta-Cabin Offices.
What I Would Be Looking For Is A Solution Where If We Need A Device, We Lease It From A Business For The Length Of Our Contract. It Is Delivered, Supported And Removed As Part Of The 'Deal' And We Have A Fixed Cost Per Copy. The Range Of Devices Need Not Be New But They Need To Work And Be Supported. Most Devices Require Tobe Network Capable. Most Of Our Construction Sites Have The Requirement To Print In B/W And Colour, Scan And Copy. Fax Is Becoming Less Of An Issue These Days. The Throughput Of The Machines Will Vary Per Site And Be Driven By The Amount Of Users.
