At The Moment We Do Not Have A Particularly Large Requirement Or Spend On This Type Of Equipment Therefore It Is Not Something That I Am Looking At Reviewing Centrally, As There Are Other Priorities For The Organisation At This Time. At The Moment Each Individual Unit Arranges Their Own Equipment, In Collaboration With Our Ict Function. In Cases Where We Have Required New Equipment I Have Simply Advised That We Utilise The Scottish Procurement Framework Agreement. Until This Gets To The Top Of The Priority List (If It Does) This Is How We Would Continue. On This Basis Therefore I Don'T See Any Scope For Further Discussion In The Near Future. I Would Strongly Advise That You Speak With The Scottish Government About Their Framework If You Are Interested, As We Would Tend To Use Existing Arrangements Where Possible Due To The Limited Procurement Resource In Bield And The Favourable Pricing That They Have Been Able To Achieve.
